In-house manufacturing
Silica is produced in our own plant, so process decisions that set performance stay with us, not an upstream supplier.

In-house manufacturing
Vistamatt grades are produced in our own facility. This matters more for matting agents than for many additives: gloss and process behaviour are sensitive to particle size distribution and surface treatment, so control over those variables is control over the result in your formulation.
Customers are welcome at the plant. If a site visit or supplier audit is part of your qualification process, tell us early and we will arrange it.
Batch consistency
Grades are controlled on the properties that decide performance in a coating — particle size distribution, surface area, moisture and pH — because these are what shift gloss and process behaviour between batches.
Grades are released against a defined property window rather than a single nominal value. The controlled properties are particle size distribution, oil absorption, surface treatment level and moisture. Each of these maps to a specific behaviour in the coating — hold-out, matting efficiency, dispersion ease and storage stability — so the specification is set against how the grade has to perform, not against a generic datasheet.
Certificates of analysis
A CoA is issued per batch. Where a customer has qualified a grade against a specific set of properties, those are the values reported.
Samples and screening
Samples are provided for evaluation in your own system. We ask for the resin type, target gloss and standard, application method and current problem before shipping — that turns a sample request into a screening plan with a defined question.
Evaluation samples are 200–500 g and supplied free of charge, with freight prepaid by Vistamatt. Each sample ships with a screening plan matched to your resin system, target gloss, application method and film build. Turnaround from request to dispatch is confirmed at enquiry.
Packaging and storage
Shelf life is 24 months when stored sealed in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Pack sizes and palletisation are confirmed per destination market at enquiry, sized to the shipping terms and volumes agreed for that region.
Order quantities and lead time
Minimum order quantity and lead time are agreed per market and per product line, usually alongside a regional distribution partner. Trial quantities for screening are handled separately from commercial orders — the first shipment should not require a volume commitment.
Supply security
Most projects begin as a second source. That is a reasonable place to start: it produces real comparison data under production conditions without putting an existing line at risk. Where a distributor holds local stock, lead time to the end customer shortens considerably.
We ship to Europe, the Americas and Asia Pacific. Export experience to date includes Spain, Germany, the United States and markets across Southeast Asia. Shipping terms, documentation and lead time are agreed per destination.
Regulatory and market access
Our grades are listed under TSCA for the United States market. Regulatory status for other destinations is confirmed per market and per project before the first commercial shipment.
If you are importing into a market with specific registration requirements, raise it early. Documentation and status are addressed as part of the technical discussion rather than after an order is placed.

If your application carries its own regulatory or food-contact requirements, raise them early and we will address them directly, including any certification your market requires.
