Hit the gloss targetwithout losing the surface
Vistamatt is the coatings matting brand of Vista. We make the silica ourselves — so particle size, pore structure and surface treatment are variables we adjust for your system, not specifications we inherit.
Matte without haze. Fine without drag. Stable enough to scale.
How a project starts
- You describe the system: resin, target gloss, application method.
- We propose a lead grade and a comparison grade.
- Samples ship for lab screening against your control.
- Results guide scale-up and phased introduction.

Three problems that stall a matting project
Most screening rounds fail for the same reasons. Naming them early shortens the path to a usable result.
Gloss drops, clarity goes with it
Clear systems turn hazy or milky and grain definition greys out. Deep matte systems go chalky, coarse or uneven.
Different particle size and structure routes for each gloss target.
The lab result will not scale
Dispersion is slow, viscosity climbs, spray or roller behaviour shifts, and material settles or hard-packs in storage.
Screening matched to resin, application method and storage requirement.
Switching sources carries risk
Cost, lead time, batch consistency and the cost of a failed changeover all sit on the same decision.
Phased introduction — lab, pilot, single line — rather than wholesale replacement.
Solutions, not a catalogue
Grades are organised by where they are used and what has to hold true in that system — so the first screening round starts in the right place.
Application to grade, at a glance
A starting point for screening. Final suitability depends on your resin system, target gloss and process conditions.

Grade codes are Vistamatt designations. Particle size ranges and full application notes are on each solution page.
Four things you can measure
One technical standard, wherever it ships
Supply runs through a mix of direct shipment and regional technical distribution. Regulatory status is confirmed per market before the first commercial order.
Shipments to date include Spain, Germany, the United States and markets across Southeast Asia. Tell us the destination early and we address documentation as part of the technical discussion.
Extended applications
Send us the system, not just the gloss number
Resin type, target gloss, application method and the problem you are seeing. We reply with a screening proposal.
